Christ commanded us to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”  As members of the Evangelism Board, we seek to reach out to people in the congregation and people outside of the church to introduce them to faith in the Lord Jesus.  We do this through welcoming people to the church; follow-up  with visitors; recognizing new members and encouraging them to be involved; advertising the service times; sponsoring outreach to the community through a tea for women and a corn roast for the community.  The Evangelism team also sponsors training opportunities for Christian growth such as prayer and marriage workshops.  The committee also has done some follow-up with current members who are not attending on a regular basis.
